Where we are visiting
We have been visiting Goshen General Hospital's Michael Chapman's Sub-Acute Unit since November 2002. We have been able to have the infection control policy changed there, and now we are visiting not only the Sub-Acute section, but almost all of the hospitals! The Hospital would like us to visit the Center for Cancer Care as well-so we always need more volunteers.
In March, 2003, we started visiting the Greencroft in Goshen and SunBridge HealthCare in Elkhart.
We visit patients in South Bend Memorial's hospital, and in Syracuse at Miller's Merry Manor. We've also started a reading program with Children in Goshen and Mishawaka Libraries.
